GS1 Barcode Licence & Registration Fees
GS1 South Africa provides members with the unique barcode numbers that businesses require to identify products, locations, documents, and many more – throughout the supply chain, globally.
By joining GS1 South Africa, members are afforded a ‘licence’ to use our unique identification numbers. This licence is renewable annually by means of paying the membership licence fee.

Obtaining your numbers
Become a GS1 South Africa member and order your barcode numbers online. You’ll receive your barcode numbers via email, as well as a ‘getting started guidelines’ pack to get you started. For manually submitted forms, please allow 2 business days for processing.
